​​​​Unfortunately the Bartledoos are nothing like the allies we used to have. Ever since their shaman passed away 150 years ago, they have never been the same. The Bartledoos simply are not intelligent beings. They act purely on beastial instinct. They have repeatedly attack us when we go to make peace.

These filthy creatures live in mud huts and caves. They have no source of government or ruling. They have no technology in any way.

We have tried to help this poor race. We have offered various gifts. We have tried to give them some of our food. We have tired to teach them about both technology and government. This only made these creatures angry.

We have lost many men to the Bartledoos. You may wonder why we continue to try to make peace with these creatures. We continue to try to make peace not so much for ourselves but to better their lives.
