​It all started about 150 years ago. The bartledoos and us Fromitdid were allies. We even lived in the same village. Even though we had different beliefs and leaders. Our leader at the time was Denarac, a very honest man. The Bartledoo leader was a shaman named Thundol. Thundol being a shaman was always ingesting things he had found in nature to become more in tune with nature. This unfortunately one night killed him. ​

The Bartledoos being the beast like creatures they are were not able to comprehend why this happened. This caused them to become furious and attack Denarac's home. We did all we could to defend ourselves. Luckily with our higher intelligence we were able to defend ourselves. We pushed the Bartledoos out of our village. They then ran into the forest where they continue to live to this day.

About one year after they attacked Denarac's home we found where they had been living in the forest and attempting to make peace with them. They reacted the same way they had the day they attacked Denarac's home, being the beast like creatures they are. We continue to try to make peace with the Bartledoos. We take trips into the forest bearing gifts and supplies for them. Every time we take one of these trips they attack us and we are forced to fight back. It is really too bad it has to be this way, They were once a good ally of ours.

​Unfortunately the conflict between us and the Bartledoos has not subsided. On our last peace run we went to one of the main Bartledoo villages. We were attacked again and forced to defend ourselves. The only way out was to fight. We lost a few men and unfortunately killed a few of theirs. All we can do is hope that this conflict will end soon and we can have an alliance once again.
